Married life is full of ups and downs, especially when one's spouse insists on playing bizarre and bloody pranks whenever their significant other comes home from work, as is the case in the full-length trailer for the live-action comedy film Ie ni Kaeru to Tsuma ga Kanarazu Shinda Furi wo Shite Imasu ("When I Get Home, My Wife Always Pretends to be Dead").
In Ie ni Kaeru to Tsuma ga Kanarazu Shinda Furi wo Shite Imasu, Ken Yasuda stars as Jun, a salaryman who is happily married to Chie (played by Nana Eikura). After three years of marriage, Jun is befuddled when everyday Chie begins faking her own death in increasingly bizarre and graphic ways. Can their marriage survive Chie's macabre pranks?
Based on the 2010 Yahoo! Answers post by K. Kajunsky, Ie ni Kaeru to Tsuma ga Kanarazu Shinda Furi wo Shite Imasu has been adapted into a manga with artwork by ichida and a 2010 Vocaloid song by Hobonichi-P. The Ie ni Kaeru to Tsuma ga Kanarazu Shinda Furi wo Shite Imasu live-action film is directed by Toshio Lee, and it hits theaters in Japan on June 08, 2018.
