TV Anime “Butlers: Chitose Momotose Monogatari” Confirms April 11 Premiere in Japan

The official website for the upcoming TV anime Butlers: Chitose Momotose Monogatari confirmed today that it is set to premiere on Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV on April 11, then on BS 11 two days later and on TVQ Kyushu Housou on April 14. It was originally planned to premiere in January 2018, but has been postponed to April due to "various circumstances."

The TV anime is based on the mixed media project "Intouchable Butlers" produced by China's SUMMERACG. The story centers on "Butlers," the guardians of the clan who has one thousand years history with a certain destiny. One of the Butlers, Jay has lived peaceful life with his sister Tenna and his mate Hayakawa. But he is sucked into a strain of time and timewarps to one hundred years future. He calls himself Kouma Jinguji and serves as the student council president at Koyomi Academy to find the keys related to the past.

Ken Takahashi (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 3rei!) is attached to direct the school action series at

SILVER LINK, alongside character designer Akiko Sato (Metal Fight Beyblade animation director) and

series composition writer Megumi Shimizu (Xam'd: Lost Memories). The OP song "Growth Arrow" is

performed by voice actor Tatsuhisa Suzuki's rock unit OLDCODEX. Suzuki also voices one of the two

protagonists, Jay/Kouma Jinguji.

Advance screening event of the first two episodes is scheduled to be held at the Cinema Sunshine

Ikebukuro theater in Tokyo on March 24. Tatsuhisa Suzuki and Takuya Sato, the voice of another

protagonist, Tsubasa Hayakawa, are confirmed to join for a talk show.
