Daniel Radcliffe is now joining the world of Kimmy Schmidt.

The famous “Harry Potter” lead actor will star in the forthcoming “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” interactive special at Netflix, that is debuting some time in 2020.

The special entails Kimmy Schmidt (Ellie Kemper) setting off on her grandest venture yet; she is traveling across three states. Similar to Netflix’s “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” movie and others, viewers can make choices for the show’s characters and move them through various story arcs. Since it is a comedy, they’ll encounter different jokes.

While announcing the inclusion of Radcliffe, Netflix also teased the arrival of Kimmy’s kidnapper, the Rev. Dr. Richard Wayne Gary Wayne (what a long name, right?) played by Jon Hamm, in the special. The cast returning for this interactive special include Tituss Burgess, Kemper, Carol Kane, and Jane Krakowski.

After the fourth and final season of the show arrived in January, Netflix ordered this special. Netflix quoted Tina Fey, co-creator and executive producer, in its announcement as stating that the special “will be an excellent way to officially complete the series.”

Throughout its four-season lifespan, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” gained 18 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including for best comedy series, but never actually won.

Tina Fey and Robert Carlock created the show and serve as executive producers. David Miner, Jeff Richmond, Sam Means, and Meredith Scardino also serve as executive producers. “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” is a production by the following companies: Universal Television, Bevel Gears, Little Stranger, and 3 Arts Entertainment.
